What exactly makes up an emotion?

The interaction of 2 key components: physical arousal and a cognitive label. In other words, the experience of emotion involves first having some kind of physiological response which the mind then identifies.

The proprioceptive information our body receives through its sensory neurons is communicated electrically through our nervous system to specific neural networks in our brain. Our brain then provides response through  biochemical reaction that release certain chemical signals.

These chemical reactions create magnetic charges.The interaction of these Electrical signals and the magnetic charge from the chemical response, create a unique electromagnetic field. The motion of this field is our energetic/emotional level of experience. 

The energetic level of experience comes to focus when we bring awareness to the emotional texture of our physical sensation, which we are usually aware of as a mood or spectrum of alertness. 

The movement of these habits enacted over time adapts our body, and this is how Being becomes Embodied.
